Manchester University Press hosted the Islamophobia Awareness Month Exhibition this November to raise awareness of Islamophobia with their staff.
The exhibition allowed viewers to see the history of Muslims in the UK, including their role in the world wars. The exhibition also looked at Muslim contributions to the UK including how they help power the British workforce, and their rates of charitable giving. The exhibition also included information on Islamophobia in Britain, looking at things like media negativity, hate crimes and stereotyping.
