A series of three writing workshops with Newham based poet and co-producer of Poetry & Shaah, Fahima Hersi.

The aim of the poetry workshops is to create a safe space for young people to explore their own identity and the following themes: home, community and belonging. These sessions will promote free thinking, creativity and allow for participants to spend time delving deep into the works of other poets and learning from the styles of such poets.

We strongly encourage applicants from Muslim heritages based in Newham to apply.
